The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant (CA or equivalent experience) to join our team in Dunedin in a permanent, full-time role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to step into a broad, high-visibility position, liaising across multiple areas of the business and acting as the key contact for financial queries. This role supports monthly management reporting across multiple Group entities and provides day-to-day financial support across different service areas.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts at Group, NZ and site level
• Managing reconciliations, GST/FBT returns and financial transactions
• Liaising with site leaders as the key contact for financial queries
• Working with financial and non-financial stakeholders supporting half-year and year-end reporting. Including reporting to our majority shareholder - JBS
• Supporting auditors and responding to ad-hoc business queries
• Providing accurate analysis across projects, capex and internal allocations

  To be a great match to this role you will have:

• Relevant accounting degree (CA preferred)
• 3+ years' experience in a management accounting or general accounting role
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Full working rights in New Zealand
