POSITION REPORTS TO: Assembly Manager

SCHEDULE: 40 Hours Monday – Friday

WORK LOCATION: In Person

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying Manager to obtain additional resources.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Responsible for evaluating and repairing any potential malfunctions that may occur during runoff and installation of the AGV
  • Maintain strict adherence to Company policy of Safety and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Documents action and performing quality control inspections before taken to the final process.
  • Coordinate with the Assembly Manager to ensure on-time delivery to next department, and ensure project is under budget.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings, then implement electrical and mechanical components
  • Proven experience of building controls panels, point to point wiring
  • Mechanical Assembly experience a plus
  • Schematics Experience required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass physical, drug screen.
  • General knowledge of the use of test instruments and hand tools.
  • Good mechanical and technical comprehension, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail, follow detailed processes and reporting requirements.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain forklift driver certification
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work overtime if needed.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required) 

– Technical Mechatronics (Preferred).
