The Opportunity:

This is an exciting position for an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in Malaga, Perth WA. This is a Service role and will have a strong focus on providing our valuable customers with carrying out breakdown, maintenance work and technical support.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Perform Electrical, Mechanical & Robotic Servicing. Preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Perform breakdown, fault finding, and emergency repair work as required - includes both Mechanical and Electrical.
• PLC, HMI and robotic maintenance, fault finding, service and repair.
• Perform breakdown, service support and repairs as required- to include both Mechanical and Electrical.
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
• Estimate costs of service and required parts.
• Provide technical assistance and assist in educating our clients
• Provide technical assistance to customers and other service engineers.
• Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and installations.
• Conducts tests of electrical systems.

About you:

• Minimum Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Unrestricted / Restricted electrical license.
• 3 - 5 years relevant working experience as Service Engineer/Technician.
• Experience working on robotic applications, automated machinery and processing equipment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Honest, reliable and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
• Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance.
• PLC, HMI, Robotic, & SCADA programming experience is advantageous.
• Travel is an integral part of this role and is required to conduct machine service work, upgrades and other Service business. This is intended as a guide only and may change although this generally defines the current expectations for travel.
• Must be able to travel domestically which is typically considered with day visits, overnight and extended days up to 10 days. (Essential)
