The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven Strategic Account Manager to oversee and grow Scott’s global relationship with JBS, one of our most strategic customers. Based in Greeley, Colorado, this role is ideal for a sales-focused professional who combines technical understanding with exceptional relationship-building skills.

As the operational lead for the JBS/Scott partnership, you will champion the expansion of Scott automation solutions, including BladeStop, Meat Processing and MHL product lines across JBS facilities worldwide, with a primary focus on the Americas region.

This role requires approximately 50% travel, primarily throughout the Americas region to JBS facilities and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the global JBS–Scott relationship at an operational level and serve as the central point of coordination.
  • Drive global sales of Scott’s automation solutions, including BladeStop, Meat Processing, and Material Handling & Logistics (MHL) products.
  • Identify new automation opportunities and track all activity in Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with Scott teams across domains to deliver a world-class sales and service experience for JBS.
  • Travel regularly to JBS production plants, primarily within the Americas region.
  • Establish yourself and Scott as the go-to resource for all automation initiatives within the JBS organization.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with JBS leadership, HQ teams and engineering stakeholders.
  • Manage, prioritize, and progress all JBS-related opportunities with urgency and ownership.
  • Provide ongoing updates to Scott’s leadership team, including escalation of obstacles or roadblocks.
  • Feed new automation concepts and customer insights into Scott’s product development team to assess strategic fit and go/no-go decisions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in a strategic account management role
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to connect confidently with all levels of a customer, from maintenance teams to plant engineers to C-suite executives.
  • Proven background selling automation equipment, ideally within the protein sector.
  • Experience working with engineered solutions in meat processing and/or material handling.
  • A strong drive to win, combined with the ability to work independently and direct your own activities.
  • Strong capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across teams without direct authority.
  • Successful track record working in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.
