Marketing Manager Europe

As the Europe Marketing Manager you are responsible for the delivery of the overall company marketing strategy, administration tasks and digital reinforcement of the Scott brand in Europe. Although primarily focused on the Materials Handling market, this role is also responsible for managing the regional marketing activity for other Scott products and brands, including BladeStop in Europe.

The key duties include:

  • Developing industry specific marketing strategies
  • Ensure that Scott Europe's marketing strategy and activities are aligned with those of the Scott Group. Responsible for managing targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads across all relevant industries.
  • Increase the 'Scott' brand awareness as well as all related product brands in all target industries and countries.
  • Creating and managing all digital and written marketing content such as customer emails, internal and external newsletters, brochures, videos, banners and promotional materials for Scott Europe.
  • Involvement with identifying and planning company tradeshows and marketing events, including recruitment events and training sessions within Europe.
  • Create and post content on social media (marketing, recruitment, etc.)
  • Coordination and maintenance the Scott site of EU marketing material to ensure all content reflects group branding guidelines
  • Ensuring that all marketing content remains updated and accurate.
  • creation of presentations and other Scott marketing documentation
  • Delivering ongoing monthly and quarterly reports that include, but are not limited to, the overall performance of tradeshows, budget utilization and key activity. Keep marketing calendar and planning documents up-to-date.
  • Track and report on the EU marketing budget to the Director Global Marketing
  • Lead the EU marketing team.

You will report to the Group GM- People, Marketing & Rocklabs.


  • You preferably have a Bachelor's degree within Marketing or communication sciences and already have several years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • You are eager to learn, show initiative and are driven to manage and optimise matters
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch/English, knowledge of French and German is a plus
  • You can work fluently with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of the various applications within Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of Google Adwords, Google analytics, content marketing, SEO, conversion optimisation and inbound marketing
  • Knowledge of social media (LinkedIN, FB, Instagram, ....)
  • You have a creative mind and attention to detail
  • Strong editorial and communication skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing campaigns and design is a plus
  • Independent, flexible, team player
