The opportunity:

We’re seeking an experienced 'Service Manager - Rocklabs' to join our busy Malaga-based operations in Perth. In this role, you'll drive service revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead a high-performing team while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence aligned with our strategic goals. To be successful. For this role, we are seeking someone with experience as both a Mechanical and Electrical Tradesperson.

You will be responsible for:

• Service Delivery & Operations: Drive the growth of service revenue by leading efficient, customer-focused operations and ensuring high technical, commercial, and financial performance. Oversee the day-to-day operations of service delivery, team development, resource planning, and inventory management, leveraging ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Sales & Business Development: Drive service sales growth by developing strategic initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships. Collaborate with the sales team to expand the customer base, promote service offerings, and secure new business through targeted marketing and effective negotiations.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing service team by setting clear expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. Proactively manage team dynamics, addressing performance issues constructively and supporting professional growth.
• Internal & External Stakeholder Management: Maximise service team productivity and client satisfaction by optimising workforce allocation, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely, effective service delivery. Collaborate with sales and management to drive revenue growth, develop tailored service solutions, and continuously improve offerings through client feedback and performance insights.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a service management role, preferably within the mining or industrial equipment sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and revenue growth.
• Demonstrated success in sales and business development within a service environment.
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation capabilities.
• Technical expertise in mining sample preparation equipment or similar industry is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel as required to support business and customer needs.
